Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG)

Over the past four years BioCap has developed industry leading expertise in the BNG scheme as both a project developer and broker. We are working closely with landowners, developers, local authorities and industry experts in our region to provide comprehensive support for habitat creation and the trading of biodiversity units.

Our flagship habitat bank at Sulham Woodmeadows is now three years old and has been successfully trading units since September 2025.

For developers, we understand the time pressures and uncertainty around planning and respond quickly when required, but have the patience to wait and adapt.

For landowners, we now have a deep understanding of the market and know how to set up a scheme in the best way for both future resilience and opportunity. We project manage one of the largest and most complex habitat banks in England and our model returns a greater share of revenue to the landowner than any other third party operator.

Below are our current projects with Biodiversity Units to sell with more in the pipeline. Get in touch with us to discuss BNG anytime. info@biocap.org.uk
